Default asp or slp pulley?

ok, im about to buy a pulley, but ive noticed theres difference between the two, ive been leaning toward the asp...but they both look totally different...why?

SLP's pulley is Powerbond's... It's like buying generic drugs. They both help you in the same exact way, you're just not paying for the logo/name!

So my vote goes indirectly to SLP.

well the slp has extra prodruding material which holds the belt in place under high load engine rpm....i flung my belt 2wice and replaced the idler before i got myne...never again has it budged.....but does squeak from time to time...

you flung your belt on what pulley?....and yea i like the powerbond, but i can get a asp for about 130..sooo

I am using the SLP/Powerbond. Works great....suprisingly.

its just funny that these companies can rheem people for that much for a damn pulley....i got pulleys at my old job for marine motors...and cost was soooo low it was ridiculous

No issues here with SLP. Just a noisy tensioner that makes my car sound blown, but that was there before the pulley.
