X pip cutout question
What do you guys think of this?
http://pypesexhaust.com/xchange.html
it seems as though when the cutouts are closed the flow would not be to good. it seems as air would go to the cut out and hit the plate and get all caught up. im not really sur i could be 100 percent wrong though. also has anybody dealt with pypes exhaust systems? i think i might order their system for my 69 with either this xchange x pipe with cutouts or their system with just the regular x pipe. boih would be through 3 inch exhaust. tell me what ya think.

well, that looks nice..as far as the exhaust going to the cutout portion of the pipe, it does on any system set-up with c/o's to a certain degree...I have a QTEC and I guess some exhaust is trapped there..I know it is..I can hear it leaking a little--thats why everyone complains about elec. ones leaking....BTW-----Very nice car you have there...

thanks for the comments. so you dont think flow will be hindered at all by going it to the cutout portion and hitting the wall? i mean with my 2.5 inch system with h pipe any step up will be better. 3 inch with taht x change xpip and cutout system shuld be fine no? i was thinking super 40's or goerlich xcelerators. i have original 40's now and they are a little to pingy

im torn between the new super 40's that flow slightly better than my original 40's but sound deeper and the delta force race 40's single chamber. i dont think the super 40's have that old school tone i like so im leaning towards the delta forces. the delta force 40's do come in a 2 chamber as well though. will the 1 chamber be to loud? i mean i have the originaly 40's now which everyone says is loud but i dont think they are bad at all. everyone says how the 1 chambered flows are much better than the two so i dont see anything wrong with the 1 chamber delta force 40's. what do u guys think?

jmm if you go on the summit website you will see that they supposedly offer a delta force 40 single chamber.i called flowmaster and confirmed that they did not exhis haha.thats why i thought the delta force 40's came in both dual and single chamber
