What is this hose for?

What is this hose for? I heard a hissing sound and found a crack on the bottom of this hose.It connects to the throttle body and has a vacuum being pulled on it.I put some epoxy over the crack til I go buy some hose.It is the highlited hose.

The EGR just went back on yesterday I had to nuder my car to go have a smog check.I am running a mac system with the catted y.I think I might just go long tubes and off-road. Since I gotta do the swap might as well be worth it.
