anything happen if i forgot to plug one side of the coil paks just for alittle bit???

Default anything happen if i forgot to plug one side of the coil paks just for alittle bit???

i was changing my spark plugs and i accidently forgot to plug one side of the coil paks and when around the block and i noticed a big difference....i didnt accelerate just drove normal....can u mess anything up???or did anything happen to my block???

It'll be fine, all that happened was the unburnt a/f mixture in the cylinders that didn't have any spark went straight into your exhaust instead of being ignited. You might have to clean off the plugs on that side, maybe not. I'm surprised you tried to drive it though---it had to sound like hell running on one bank of cylinders!

i did the same thing, but it only took a min to notice. the smell was crazy, and it sounded like ****. and the SES light kinda hinted that something was wrong...i didnt drive it though, it was in the garage

uhm, probably not. if it takes about 350hp to make some cars go high 12's/low 13s in the quarter.....imagine only running on half the cylinders, and having less than half the HP....the car will run like ****, and barely more its own weight.

just tell them that you will run them with 4 cyl, if they will run you with only one cam. they dont like that one very much
