Go buy the November issue of GMHTP and they have an article in their testing out 7 different lids. Dyno and Track testing.

Just read that today, and it was definitely interesting. I'm not quite sure what to think of it. I don't know if the differences were a fluke, or actually something repeatable.

no those results just show how similar all the lids are, if they did the test again it most likely would be the same results with different lids performing better next time around...

Thats where the decision comes to play. In the last thread on this, it was mentioned that the SLP lid fits the best besides the small rubbing with the WS6 hood and I think the SS. The MTI clearlid was the 2nd most common lid and has good fitment also. everything else, people complained the lid didnt fit right.

I have a whisper lid on my car and the fitment is great. No rubbing on the hood or anything.

Whisper doesn't make a clear lid. Just black & carbon fiber.

According to this test, the slp makes a few more hp (higher mph in the 1/4)and it has a tight fit.
