Default intake comparison

quick question guys. i was wondering if there was a difference between any of the LS6 style intakes? i know the FAST intake is probably the best but, what about the others? BBK, SLP, Holley? thanks.

a little bit of research on intakes goes a long way. How much are you looking to spend? Do you want it for appearance or performance? SLP intake = LS6 intake; They are the same. What are you planning on doing with the car overall?

The LS6 intake is a good one . The SlP is pretty much a stock LS6 intake . The FAST is a cool looking intake with mods can put down a pretty good amount of power compared to the LS6 .
As far as the BBK and holley I have never owned either of those so I can not say honestly if they are good . I would just buy a ls6 intake that or if you got the cheese buy the fast .

i am not planning on doing anything crazy to the car. ( you know how that goes) i was just wondering if there was a difference. you know like the whole a lid is a lid is a lid thing. but yes, money is a big factor.

Check this out for some info on another new manifold:

You can get current pricing on this unit from ByunSpeed, one of the site sponsors.

Then definitely check into the Proffessional Products intake.

If you don't plan on a cam then the LS6 will see as good gains as any. The Typhoon does look tempting for the price though.

Other alloy intakes only ever seem to match or slightly under perform compared to the LS6. So no real advantage except for appearance maybe.
