noob stupid question on exhuast.. .
I just had flowmaster exhuast install not too long ago with dual tips (similar to corvetttes 2.25" orval) then my friend (is the manager at a auto shop/ muffler) said to me that i should put a 2.5" tube tip or 3" tube tip to make it louder. Is that really true??? I mean my flowmaster is already louder. . but i did like the intresting idea of it but i rather check with you guys. ANy ideas???

tips are not going to make it that much louder, if you want a nice and nasty rumble from your engine go with and ory, lt's and qtp's e cut out. I have 3" plumbing all the way around on my ssm with CME, the 3" I pipe if you dont already have it will allow more space for gases to be pushed out of the engine

i was refering to long tube headers.... if you have stock ones on your car switch them out to,..... long tube headers will give u more rumble or u can do another type of header... itll give you more power and don't forget to do a off road y pipe... hope that helps u out
