It just helps to vent the crankcase pressure - I have one along with my LS6 valley cover and AMW catch can. I got tired of all the oil that kept going in my damn manifold. This setup has helped the most.

Oh, and if you want to see what it is doing, go examine your stock PCV system. It pulls from the valve covers, so the crankcase pressure is being expelled through there.

i just ordered one from speed inc. i want to be sure no oil comes in contact with my new tb, or my new fast 90. and my oem oil cap has issues (think the o ring swelled) so it was time for a replacement of some sort.

I had a question about these if i run one of these do i have to block of my pvc hoses? If so do i have to block off the two in the back and one on the passanger side? Sorry to jump in with questions, but i think this may be great info for you as well if you are thinking about putting one of these of these on as well. thanks

You don't have to block off anything to run this breather filter.

Now, keep in mind that you can either put it in the existing black plastic chimney that the current cap goes in, or you can take the valve cover off, remove that plastic piece, and it'll fit right in there (it kinda screws in just like the black chimney).
