Oh don't get me started...I tried selling something a while back, got pissed at someone that made a remark and didn't know what they were talking about, and then everyone else jumped in on his side saying how big of a ***** I was. For that reason alone, I would never run a business where the vast majority of the clientelle were on a forum of any sort.

Could someone please PM me the cost of that setup? I'd like to do something very similar if not the exact same, just with a set of 3 bolt flanges where the cats are so they can be easily removed and reinstalled for track use/street use.

I already have a set of stainless qtp headers (sorry kooks, but you had a big backlog back when I bought them 4+ years ago, not that the qtp's are any better/worse then kooks) and would like the system built off them.

If the system is 1200 I don't care, I just want something I can easily remove the cats from for the track, that's stainless so I'll never have to do it again, and is quiet enough not to get harrassed for driving around.

Thanks!

We met with George R at KOOKS and he designed the perfect system for us which included the above plus resonators, twin mufflers and Corsa tips.
The installation was done flawlessly with exceptional weld quality and incredible workmanship. Pictured below are some of the build and install photos.

We would like to thank Mr. Goerge Kook, George R., George Jr., Larry and Geronimo for the time, effort and hospitality that was given to us while we were at KOOKS.

The sound is exactly what we wanted. The exhaust sound is deep, not raspy and is totally awesome.

PS - The install required a BMR Panhard relocation kit.

If you would like additional pics send PM.

IF you are considering a system such as this, I would strongly recommend contacting George R. at KOOK Custom Headers. He is a true professional, a "good guy" and a pleasure to deal with.

10/30 edited: After driving the car 150 miles, we can say that there are NO rattles or squeeks. Put the car on the lift and there are NO rubs anywhere.

For those who haven't noticed, there is also a driveshaft loop.

THats what all duals over the axle should look like. None of that retarded under the axle crap!

I am not expert, but are these short or long tube headers. A while ago I bought Kooks headers. I did not know the significance of short versus long (alleged?). I have not put them on yet. (LS1 350 ci vette).

People tell me the power is less with the short. These look like the ones I have which are short, but I could be wrong.

Are they short or long?

You know, I usually get annoyed with people quoting pictures. But on this thread with this exhaust, I don't give a damn. I just needed another chance to burn that beautiful set of pipes into my memory.

Makes me wish I had an LSx in my bird. Time to find that JEG's two cylinder bolt-on...

Hello all, they are long tube kooks headers, 1-3/4 stepped to 1-7/8 all stainless. The best quality headers i have ever seen.

Default Two weeks after install......

After two weeks of driving, I have to say that we are more than pleased with this system. No rattles what so ever. Not at all peaky or raspy, all you hear is cam and cubic inches.

We will try to get sound clip up this weekend.

Thanks for all the great comments.

Absolutly the sickest over axle true dual system ive ever seen. Vinci Hi-Performance in Maitland Florida is close to where i live and they make an over axle true dual setup, this KOOKS setup blows theirs out of the water. A sound clip would definately be appreciated, but i can assure you it still wont do it justice. That thing has got to sound sick in person! BTW would it work ok with pacesetter longtubes?
