Ya im wondering if u can do the same thing with tru duals... i dont want cats but i have to have them on there for emissions... plus the dude doing my exhaust wont put on an off road h pipe So i would like to know if its possible to have a slip on cat thing. I would think people would make so much money with a product like that. Dont mean to hi-jack, i just figured it would be pointless to start another thread.

well heres the thing - that would require me hiring someone to weld the shell of a cat on (i have no idea where to buy just the shell) and if I was going to do that I might as well just have them weld on a flange for cats and I could just interchangebly swap them between cats and a straight pipe. The problem I think I am having is a smell problem ( gas fumes) and I can put in slip-in cats myself and wouldn't have to hire someone to do it for me so it would be best for my budget.

when i had my mini cats installed he was suggesting the cats that go inside the exhaust pipe.. they were made by jet hot. Ive never seen them listed anywhere so you should call them. The only problem was 1) their inside the exhaust so they arent "visual". 2) how will you get them to stay in place in there? I dont know exactly what you plan to do with them but if your speaking of the cats that fit inside the pipe.. it was jet hot
