Does anyone on here have doug's headers? I was out at SEMA last week and noticed they make headers for our cars...anybody used them for the fbod's or vettes? or anything else?

I've heard they've got good quality, and even though the company is now owned by Pertronix, I guess they're still doing things out of their own shop...

I'd be willing to give them a try if I can figure out where to get them

I know Jeg's has them...or will be having them. Not sure if the headers are new are not, but I was at the show and I found out they sell all their stuff to jeg's (pertronix). Those things looked like they were about double the thickness and quality of the Patriot headers at the other side of the booth.

Why Doug Thorleys? What is wrong with proven performers like QTP/Kooks/PAcesetter/Jet Hot...ect?

They completely knocked off the hooker design. They even copied the O2 position on the outside of the header. i be ya they didnt even test it on the car yet. If the had any common sense the 02 bung would be on the inside.

That is what makes it not a hooker header though.

Somebody tell if im wrong, but i'm 99% sure that doug's headers is completely different than doug thorley. Doug's headers is owned by Pertronix now, and doug thorley is a Summit company, right? http://www.pertronix.com/downloads/dougs05.pdf

Why something different though? I have a chance to get a brand new set for fairly cheap, and they looked pretty solid in person. I've never heard anything about them on here, and I was mostly curious...
