Default Question about Duals

In the next few week I'm looking to get rid of my Corsa exhaust and go with some duals dumped before the axle. My Question is what mufflers to go with. I want a loud sound, but not rediculous or annoying. Also is it better to go 2.5 inch or 3 inch, or do you think I should just stick to my LT's Corsa and cutout. Any advise would be appreciated, thank you.

Try www.ls1sounds.com and see if you find something that you like. The 2.5" is adequate for a decently built motor, but alot of guys go ahead and run 3".

I've been looking on there for a while but just can't seem to make up my mind. Kind of just wanting to get people's personal preferences based on experience. Also was wanting to know if anyone is running Borla XR1 mufflers since I can't find that on there.

Loving mine. I need to get an idle clip sometime. But if you listen close, you can hear the idle before the burnout. Dis-regard how low they are, I was in a hurry to get to the track lol. Oh, one more thing, this is a botched run cause I spun, but it gives the best example I have of how it sounds.....

Yeah you spun and chirped fourth as well!! Is that on your old Nitto's or is this most recent brian?

ANyway, I have duals dumped, Pacesetter LT's, Xpipe, no cats, 3 inch to Flowmaster bullets, turn downs point 45 degress away from each other.....

It's loud alright. Anything over 3000 rpms and you cant talk normal to the passenger.
I may go wtih something like BriancWS6 has, But I need ot go for a ride in his before I change mine.
