Ram Air Lower Box I have a 2000 Pontiac Formula & my buddy has a WS6 T/A & his lower box has a bigger opening then my Formula..... Where can you buy one that comes on the T/A's?

I run 7.28 @ 94 w/1.55 60ft.... on motor. He runs 7.30s with a 150 shot & cam & converter.
I just like the look of his Air Box Better, I am going to get a box like that & fab up a Ram Air thing like that in the metal shop.

the WS6 lower lid will not work on our cars, the reason in that the bottom portion of our hood where it meets the top of the lid, it is to tall. may need to modify it a bit.... if you get it to work let me know

I run a WS6 lower on my car with a ftra style Whisper Ram Air. IMO it's a worth while mod if you have the hood.
btw, for one reason or another, some guys have got them to work with the stock TA hood while others haven't.

I have seen them on non-ram air cars. Basically it's due to production differences, and some have modified the WS6 lower so it's mounted about an inches further back so that it clears the hood.

I got the taller one and had it on my stock hood. I had the slp lid and it rubbed a little on the top but fit fine. Did not have to move it back or anything just bolted it up and closed the lid fine.
