Default header gasket

i just blew a header gasket last week, so obviously it's making a weird noise at 3200-WOT but not at idle. it was the gasket that slp sent w/ their headers. are there any particular gaskets that are more durable, reliable?

One of the best gaskets for the ls1s is the factory gasket. The mls gasket is one of the best to use, we have not had a problem with them sealing.

Never heard of any problems with the stock ones. Never use a gasket that comes with headers.

I went with a set of percy's, it'll be the last set you buy! they are guaranteed not to blow out.
