Default I've got a cutout - Just want a great sounding muffler!!

I've got a cutout just before the axle on a stock exhaust set-up. I want a bit more growl to the car over the stock muffler. What do you suggest? What sounds the best?

That's right. Looking for a nice deep tone for when it is closed.

do you have the stock maniflolds??? If you want more sound go with some longtubes. Also check ls1sounds.com out. If i had a stock exhaust i would go for the gmmg. It would be overbearing with headers and ory though.

If it were me, I would get longtubes and run it through the stock muffler. That would wake it up while still being tame. If however you want to swap out just the muffler (same route that I took) i just put a magnaflow muffler in there and with longtubes it sounds great. However, with stock manifolds, the magnaflow muffler just sounded almost like the stock muffler.
