I hope you like it loud because that system is basically glorified straight pipes.

I ran GMMG with Long tubes and CATS!! is the best sounding set up out there for our cars...Buy it!!! A lot of people nock on it because of the price I had the oval tips..... It is all stainless so it will out last the car when you are done with it you can polish it up and still get most of your money back out of it.....

I think that the GMMG is overhyped. I've heard them on multiple cars, and quite frankly, they don't tickle my pickle. Make sure you do your research and decide for yourself instead of just believing the GMMG > * crap.

its not basicly straight pipes. it is. without cats on it it sounds exactly like every other straight piped V8 that you hear in old chevy pickup trucks.

good way to spend $800

Great sounding set up. You won't be disappointed with it. Add some Longtubes and cats and it's one of the best sounding In My Opinion.

Agreed! I liked it so much on my 2002 SS with longtubes, that I bought another one for the wife's 2002 Z28. It will sound raspy with out cats, but it does not even come close to sounding like straight pipes.

The gmmg isn't all that raspy with longtubes and no cats, It's loud but has a deep tone in the lowwer rpms but has a straight pipe sound when revving up 4500+ but you will like it trust me!
I might put cats on when i get older, but for now it's great!

well being since i have a blackbird WS6 and switch over to tsp duals with bulits. im not sticking up for gmmg. but i can not lie from idle. to a bout 3k rpm's you whoud not have know i went from p/p manafolds
and stock y pipe with cats to
long tubes
with tsp duals
with no cats
but after 3k rpm's its kinda like a nascar sound
to fit my taste of good sounding exhaust
go with LTS ory and gmmg cat back it sounds bad ***
im going with that set up myself
but dont get me rong!!! tsp duals
are great!!!! its a good choice
witch ever one you go with

it sounds good but their are other close setups out their that will still sound good for half the price, when it comes down to it it is what you like and how deep your pockets are

I went from stock to Corsa to TSP True Duals to GMMG all with Hooker Super Comp LT's. Out of those I like the GMMG best so far with the LT’s & an ORY. The TSP duals were ok, but little to loud inside since they were dumped before the axle. If had true duals all the way out the back probably would have liked that better but didn’t want to fool with making a setup or taking it off to someone to have it done. GMMG to me is not as loud inside the car as the duals were but its still loud as H*** when get on it & has good sound when at idle. The new cam helps too. But that’s just my opinion.

All except stock made the little old lady that lived in the townhouse next to my Ex-GF complain about loud cars in the neighborhood when I left or came over late so they are all good in that respect.
