I don't like how the Borla or Dynomouth conversions sound but has anyone done a Gibsonmouth?
I didn't find anything in search.

Probably!
But then again people are still buying the flowmasters. lol
I'm thinking about just putting a cutout on my magnaflow catback setup and calling it a day.

However as to your question.
Any wire mesh bullet muffler will sound similar to any other wire mesh bullet muffler. This includes, Borla, Dynomax, Maganflow and Gibson amoung others.
They are all trying to solve the same problem with the same solution. Weave density, material and core design will have an affect but it will be minimal.
Other changes in sound come from the casing length and diameter as this directly affects the amount of sound dedening material.
However, returning to the issue of flow. Using a single muffler for all 8 cylinders means it MUST flow well or be a restriction. 3" core is going to be a minimal, which rules out Sweet Thunder mufflers as they neck down too much.
Powersticks don't and Flowmaster 10 Series mufflers have all been used to good affect.
