header install problem
well i got my pacesetter headers and y pipe on today. they sounded great for the 1 second the car was on. i hear a loud hissing sound then the car dies, i cranked it 2 times and it happened both times. im going to assume it was the rigged up egr block off plate i made, so im going to order a block off plate but what can i use until it comes in, i heard of using a freeze plug. is this possible? what size? please give your input if you think there is another problem

If you deleted your EGR you need to plug up the intake manifold. That would be a big problem right there. I believe the size is 1 3/8 adjustable plug. You have to screw that bitch down hard also to get it to expand a make a good seal. What did you use to rig up the one you have now? Do you have fittings on your headers for EGR and AIR? And did you plug up your intake? Let us know exactly what's plugged up and what's not.
