Default EGR Questions??

I have a question. I have a 99 SS M6 and I am going to get LS6 intake and LT with ORY. Should I keep the EGR or get rid of it? I always just wanted to know if there is a different in power gains if you don't have to. To if you don't have it? Also if I go without the EGR I need a tune right? Thanks

dont qoute me on this, but im pretty sure when people say they delete the egr, there are no gains but it cleans up the engine bay... but i think its best to take it out, bc the egr puts hot gases back in the intake... ill do some searchin for ya

When you go WOT, the EGR valve closes anyway. There's no gains from getting rid of the EGR (in HP), but it will keep your intake tract a little cleaner and open up some room under the hood.

Yank it.
