Default New P/P TB

well not new but new to me Port job and cleanup thanks to 2002blackZ. excellent job, only drove it home from his house so far but the butt dyno approves. its actully a frankenstein TB, its a 2002 housing with 98 cable cam, throttle blade and sensors.
excuse the shitty picture quality, cell phone.

NOTE:this is not WOT. it is as far open as i could get it while taking the picture.

Looks good all housings from 98 to 02 are the same, along with sensors, the only thing that is different is the cam.

i know i was just stating. the idle air hole in the blade that was on it was drilled out to control the idle on a cammed car. but it would cause mine to idle too high, so we had to put my blade in it. it took some persuasion with some sandpaper after i got home to keep it from sticking closed but i got it handled now. we came to the conclusion that there were some tolerence differences between 98 and 02. thats why it stuck a little.

Yea sometimes the blades just set kind of funny. When i tighten down the blade screws, i apply loctite, then i tighted them both almost down but not tight, then i open and close the blade about 6 or 7 times to set it correctly then tighten donw one screw, open and close it again a couple times then tighten down the last one, works like a charm, i have done about 70 now so i have encountered every problem lol.

Knife edge the front of that thing. Still looks more stock than ported if you ask me.

its hard to tell from the pictures, but it is ported. we compared my stock one to this one. i have to take it off again tonight and do some more work on it to get the sticking under control. im going to see what i can do with the knife edging.
