Default My waterpump is F*cked

Drove a mile down the road...no problem.

Got gas and parked....no Problem

Get back in and low coolant light is on and belt is making a horrible noise, so I opened the hood and there was liquid EVERYWHERE......Problem

Try to find the leak and I looked at the pulley on the water pump and it was "teeter tottering" and going back and forth....

There was coolant everywhere dripping from oil pan/bellhousing to front sway bar.

Did the shaft "break off" from the propeller lil deal inside the pump and made pressure build up to blow the pump seal??

Any info/discussion is appreciated!

Thanks

Bearings probably took a dump and killed the seal. Sounds like a great reason for a nice Meziere electric unit.

Well...for what it's worth, TByrne is having a sale on EWPs right now that makes them a little bit more reasonable. Never heard of one failing like that though...usually, I just hear about them squealing or the seals leaking...not an all out failure like that.
