What kind of TB?
Been searching through previous threads but I couldn't find an answer...
What is the largest throttle body that will work with the LS6 intake manifold (stock on '02 Z28)? Does that depend on brand? Any recommendations?
note: I have an 85mm MAF, mid-size cam, LT headers....... heads in future.

I am not sure on the size but before I spend the nut on a TB, you gotta determine where the car is going to go. Like if you wanted a FAST intake, there are 2 sizes. You dont want a 78mm FAST TB and then want a 90mm intake, you gotta rebuy stuff.
You may want to consider a good port and polish for your LS6 intake. IMO

I would definitely go with a ported TB. It is relatively cheap and you will pick up some increased throttle response and some extra power. There are a ton of guys who are making gobs of power still using the stock ported TB. Yeah you will pick up more power w/a bigger TB, but do you have the mods that REQUIRE that? At the time it doesn't seem like it so I would say go w/the ported stocker. Hope this helps.

You could probably see some good gains from a Fast 90 setup....but if you don't want to spend a lot of money, then just port your stock throttle body. Dont bother buying a BBK or any other expensive throttle body. Just port your stock throttle body...and let that bitch rip!!!

Mine was ported and it felt way better, but at the end of the day it still rubbish compared the fast90/90!
Go the fast90/90 anything else is just wasting money and time.

A ported stock TB is a good mod for the ls6 intake. They work well together. No need to go aftermarket tb on the ls6 intake.
If you have the money, and your setup is somewhat wild, it makes sense to go with a FAST 90/90 combo. Usually just a cam is not enough to warrant the money for the 90/90.
Another option is TPIS opens up your ls6 intake to accept a larger TB, but it cost more too. Then you can run a 90 mm TB with your ls6 intake. Somewhere in between a regular ls6 intake and a 90/90 combo.
