Default E3 spark plugs

Has anyone ever tried these? A neighbor bought these for his 05 colorado and swears he picked up 4mpg, smoother idle and better acceleration. They seem like a gimmick to me. Tried a search but E3 is too short

There's been a few threads in the past on these, I looked around for the same info when i was looking at plugs, but i just ended up getting the higher end delco plugs... not enough info on them, and they do seem like a gimmick to me.

They definitely do not work good on four cylinders. You'd be surprised at how many returns I take (Kragen Asst. Manager) based on their warranty policy. And pretty much every return just wants a different plug and not more E3's.

However, they are apparently awesome for 2 stroke or single plug apps. like lawn mowers or small engines.

A lot of people compare them to Splitfires, and those I know suck on V8's (my dad tried some in his old 396). So, putting two and two together......

Yeah, I work at Checker ( Asst Mgr as well) and get quite a few exchanges on them too, i was just curious how they ran on LS1s.

Yah, that's the warranty I always honor, but it applies to car motors as well according to the package.
