Default Contemplating something....come in

i have pacesetters and ory pipe. i was gonna go with a hooker catback, but im considering true duals again. since the pacesetter y pipe has good clearance, i was thinking of cutting out the y junction and creating an x pipe there to run duals. im not sure what the angle is though. has anyone done this with the front half of the pacesetter y pipe?

that's an awesome idea.. the only problem i could see is running two pipes through the tunnel. space is very limited on these cars unfortunately, that's why i'm sticking w/ my borla. goodluck though.

you could always get the bassani tru-duals and modify it to hook to your headers.

+ 1 for bassani true duals and fabbing a connection if you have the tools. That would sound sick as hell with LTs.

Have a shop fab it if you do. It sounds feasible, but it may turn into more of a botch job.

I would just sell the TSP y here on tech, and buy yourself some TSP true duals, or have some fabbed up.

For sure. I would say duals hands down for power.

ive had tsp's duals and clearance is horrible. on my last ls1 me and my exhaust guy fab'd up a 2.5" dual system that had great clearance. since i already have the pacesetter y pipe i thought maybe i would try something with it. anyway, ill probably stick with the hooker catback and cutout for a while
