2000/2002 intake swap? I have a 2000 LS1.
I would like to swap out the manifold for the larger model from a 2002 LS1.
I was reading the the EGR valve was removed from the new larger manifold.
Can I swap it out or does it require a mod for the EGR valve?

yeah pull that puppy out and get an egr block off plate. It will probably throw an engine code but you can get it tuned out. I just removed my egr and A.I.R. last night, it took me a total of about 6 beers. Talk about making some room in the engine bay!! Good luck
