dyno #s alittle unhappy!!
i just ran my car on the dyno for the first time and i was hoping for a littte more. It put down 352hp & 362tq. car has free mods tr224cam,mac headers&ory, pulley, home ported TB,mti lid, gran mass air, taylor 10.4wires,bosch+4 plugs, car is a M6 with 4.10gears 98 ss.granted that when i ran it on the dyno it has 2k on the oil year old plugs and i haven't cleaned my air filter in a while plus the ses light was on and no tunning to the computer.not ideal for a dyno run.this is sae#'s please give me some input. thanks

Judging from the fact that you made 10 more FTlbs of torque than HP I would say that your car is badly in need of a tune. I think those are great numbers, the gears are sucking up about 5-10 dyno HP also. I would expect it to make around 375/365 with some tuning.

Re: dyno #s alittle unhappy!!
i dont see you hitting 400hp without heads and that cam. My friend in his 02 with the 224/224 .581 112 cam pulled 399hp on stock heads. You would be doing very good to get in the 380-390 range with that. I'd say 380 is gonna be good on your setup. As far as ET's go.. its anyone guess. Ive seem M6s go 12.6's with cams and then ive seen them go mid-uppers 11's with that cam. Its just a mattr of if you can launch on sticky tires and nail the shifts... Do you have any bolt on times before cam?
intake will help that cam breath as well as a open exhaust, but you HP numbers should be about 20 higher than your tq numbers with a good tune. You need to find out you A/F and if you got knock on that run!

How many miles does the car have? I would also do a leakdown AND compression check if I were you. Just to be sure the bottom end isn't hurting at all. Even without an intake, you should have made more than 357 rwhp. Do a good tune up, change the fue filter if you havent already, do the checks, and then redyno it. FWIW, I have seen an LS1 intake car make 380 rwhp with stock heads and a T1 cam.

I would change your plugs also. Somehow platinum plugs sucks when installing higher performance. Most sponsors dont even sell any platinum tips. Couple months ago, I installed denso irridim plugs and the difference was awesome. Have no dyno sheets but gained 9 rwhp. And like everyone said, get tuning.
