The mufflers Im buying are 2 1/2" in/out because thats all they make. I was planning on having 3" go in the X pipe and 2 1/2" out the X and the rest of the way out the back but since the mufflers are only 2 1/2" should I just do the exhaust from completly 2 1/2" pipe?

I would still run the 3" to the X and then use the 2.5" out of it
