Default headder and ory swap!!

A buddy is swapping in a set of pacesetter lt's and a TSP ory. What else is he going to need?gaskets should be good ( 30k 02 firehawk) o2 extentions,.I did my 99SS but i had egr and needed a blockoff plate i know he don't need them but is there anything else?

Wont need any block off plates if he got the race style headers. Everything else should come with the headers, dont use the gaskets that come with the kit. You should be ok with the stockers but if you want you can buy some new header gaskets. I got them from the dealer for about $12 a piece. Extensions for the 02s are a must, unless you buy the rear corvette ones. And dont forget to buy some antiseize, very important!!

thanks man i did the pacesetter off roads on my 99SS but i don't know what will be diff. with a 02 as in no egr. The only ls1 i've ever worked on is mine

Dont think there is really a difference in power just looks alot cleaner. Glad I could help.

Might as well change the plugs while your in there!!! Also like Blkbird said get your extentions.
