?? about air pump...
I put a lid on my stock ls1, it has the hole in the drivers side of the lid for the rubber hose, it is currently blocked off. The question is what do I do, can I block off the end of the hose or do I need to reconnect it. I was told I could have someone disable it through the computer, is this the way to go or??
Any help is appreciated...

to me the easiest thing to do would probably connect the hose to the lid, or get yourself a little breather-type air filter to put there. you'd be able to get one at any autoparts store and would be very cheap compared to paying someone to tune it out with a computer.

i dont have my'n connected to anything..i just ran the hose out of sight...it has been like that for about 100K miles now...whats the worst that can happen? the electric air pump sucks some unfiltered air in?? for the short amount of time it runs im really not worried about it.

yea, right now I just took the hose off of the air pump and the hole is open, its been like that for a week and no harsh affects, I will however put the breather as recommended above...
