Default Flowtech headers+quality=NOT!!! (56k woe betide thee)

My Flowtech headers arrived today. Here's what I found in the box:

Flowtech headers (a division of Holley) are made in Mexico. No dig on our Hermanos del Sur, but my 10-year old cousin could do better fabrication work!!

Check out the slag ***** in pic 2 which were coated along with the pipes.

I immediately fired off an e-mail to the vendor (who shall remain nameless at this point) with these pictures (and more) attached. Needless to say, I've demanded a refund and cancelled the Flowtech y-pipe.

A word of warning to those out there looking at Flowtech headers for your ride; you get what you paid for!!

Mine were fine. I also got the coated ones. My only complaint is that they're starting to rust. I've had them on for about two years, so I guess that's to be expected.

i have flotech uncoated headers, and they fit great, the quality was good and all. Cant complain one bit about mine. Looks as if you got a bad set, or one made on a monday or friday.

I feel your pain man, I have them, they are junk, total junk. There was actually a hole in the collector around the primary's. They leaked like a faucet. I went back to my macs.

I was fairly happy with mine. They have been on for probably three years now and still look great.
