LS6 intake/EGR question

Re: LS6 intake/EGR question
The only thing you'll get by removing the EGR from the car is an SES light. The car will not run like crap, die, blow up or anything else. Get some block-off plates and take it off. You'll like the way the engine bay looks with less clutter. Take the AIR out, too, while you're at it! Even better, have it turned off with LS1 edit. No SES, no fuss.

Yup I ousted my EGR and AIR a few months ago--SES light popped up, but no performance issues. Going to have it edited it with LS1edit in a few weeks when my car goes under the knife

by deleting them out of the system wouldnt that cause it to fail an OBDII inspection. i mean im an inspector but there is no way to get around that. or does it just over look that in a test? what exactly does the AIR system do?

Re: LS6 intake/EGR question
The OBD II test knows exactly what is on every car's computer. Your computer must be up to factory spec or you will not pass.
When I get my OBDII test, my computer must show that all factory smog stuff is working.
