few quick questions on FAST manifold install
car uses 2 quarts of oil every 1000-1500 miles
so what mods should i do here for installing this.....
i'm about to do a fast TB and manifold install on my 2001 trans am.
it has a ls6 manifold on it right now -for sale .
anyways. i was looking on ls1howto on to do it and there talking about egr crap and what not. but i think they were upgrading to a ls6 manifold.
well what mods should i do when installing this? anything?
ive searched and i'm not all that good at comprehending haha.
also i drive car in winter so i dono if i should do TB bypass or ???
and tips will help.

You don't NEED an LS6 valley cover to install the FAST. You just need the LS6 coolant crossover lines and plugs.
Also make sure you follow the FAST instructions exactly. Make sure you use the button head bolts provided with the intake on the valley cover. If you don't, you will crack the intake because the stock bolts sit too high for the FAST intake.
Do you have the EGR still hooked up?

i still have egr hooked up. i believe egr is on driver side on 2001? how do i delte this.
also my car came stock with an ls6 inttake so i dont need to worry about any coolant lines or anyhting correct?
any good threads or pics about a catch can?

Your car already has the LS6 coolant crossover line and the plugs because it is an 01. The 01-02 cars DO NOT have EGR; you are talking about the A.I.R. system as stated above. You will fail a visual emissions inspection if you delete it
