Default need help with true dual exhaust

okay i'm looking at going to a true dual system but i have no idea what mufflers to use. I don't care if its loud. I just want it to sound good and there's no inspections in alabama so i don't have any cats if that makes any difference. so any suggestions

EAD performance has powerstick mufflers...they are chambered like the 69 SS mufflers.

I had true duals with 3'' bullets going over the axle and it sounded good and loud also. Just switched to the powersticks and dumped it before the axle and it sounds much better and is much louder.

I saw these the other day and am planning on making a true dual dumped before the axle with these. Sound good!

I got my powersticks from Ead performance, a sponsor here. Just get the length you want, call up tsp and tell them you wanted to run the XXX length powerstick and have the make the exhaust with the xx length for those instead of a 12'' bullet or 18'' spiral flow. They also might be able to get the powersticks for you.

They're bullet type if that's them in the pic and they look at least 18" which is the Dynomax setup on the TSP kit.
No reason they wouldn't work the same but I doubt TSP would give a discount for selling the kit sans mufflers, maybe though.
If they didn't slip on, they would have to be welded on, and you'd have to rig up the hangers somewhere.

If you got the $$ you could potentially modify the TSP kit to go out the back like I did with mine,.. and criss cross them where the stock muffler was,
(like in pic OA_01 )
That would at least kill the cabin noise.
Good luck getting someone to build that for you though, possible, but tough, and pricey.

Sweet thunder dumps definitely the best sounding exhaust, still not loud enough though. Even with the no cats and kooks, needs a cam and a blower.
