Throttle body myth or not???
I was at a car cruise a couple of nights ago and this gentlmen with a 2000 Trans Am said that with the throttle body you could grind down a tab on the passenger side so that the throttle body will open all the way? He said you had the do little by little and use a volt meter? Has anyone else heard of this and if so does it make a difference? And also what would be the volts for the throttle body being wide open??? Thanks

You are better off using a ruler. The voltage is a secondhand
thing and TPS voltage just needs to be in acceptable range
when done. Quit grinding when the blade stops at mechanical
dead center.
