Default Materials for FAST 90/90

What else do I need to purchase to install the FAST 90/90 (which I just ordered). I also picked up the coolant pipe/plug kit for LS6/LSX intake manifold. What else do I need to purchase to do install b/w now and time it arrives?

You might need a new bellows if you cant stretch you old one over the new throttle body.

I would purchase some new intake gaskets. The Felpro ones ran me $20 at AutoZone...and I believe they are the same also marketed by FAST. My old ones were just too crushed to seal.

Not to get off topic, but do you need a tune for the car to run if you switch over to the Fast 90/90? You need a tune to get the most out of it, but I was curious if there were gains in it just from a direct swap.

Are the stock intake gaskets from Autozone or other parts store of your choice the same as the gaskets that FAST sells (looks like 8 large o rings)?

I just bought a fast90/90 combo and what I didn't get was the gasket that goes between the intake and the throttle body. You have to order that gasket separately. I couldn't believe it didn't come with.

You know I thought the same thing till I looked a little closer and the gasket was in the plastic bag. It was doubled up so it looked too small until I took it out. However, they don't include the intake gaskets.

I believe the FAST gaskets are the same. When I found out I needed some, I called Thunder Racing and they told me that they all seemed to be the same and worked just as well.

You can heat up your stock bellow with a torch and it will fit over the throttle body

This may be an off the wall question, but I currently have the LS6 intake and am somewhat contemplating the FAST..

Can we use the stock fuel rail on it?

Thanks Z28. ANd we can't use the stock fuel rails with the fast. You have to buy the fast fuel rails. You can get the fuel rails and installation kit for like $239 from speed inc

Hmm

2 for need new rails..
1 for don't need new rails..

I love the internet..

For me, that would make this a deal breaker, if I have to shell out another 250 bucks for fuel rails..
