How much power would this header swap be worth?
I have a MTI S2 heads/cam car and the exhaust setup is currently mac headers, orp, flowmaster collector and SLP dual/dual exhaust, I don't have a cutout.
The exhaust setup that I'm looking at is the QTP stainless 1 7/8 longtubes with a 3 inch x pipe setup with dumps before the axle. I may even order the merge collectors on the headers.
What do you think would be the approximate gains from this setup over what I have? It seems like it would be worth some good power.
Thanks
Jordan

I'd say about 20-22 rwhp and easily 3/10ths on a good cool evening for 1/4 ET. These were my numbers for the Jethot LT's and 3" ypipe no cats with the Borla.

mike,
sure man, where do you live? we should definately meet up somewhere. What kind of heads and cam do you have?
brett,
you gained 20 hp over macs by switching to jet hot headers and 3 inch y pipe?
