Default Found new shift light

I just replaced my AutoMeter Pro shift light w/ a Stewart Warner Ultra shift light. Theyt just came out on the market recently so i dont know how many places have them yet. the dimensions are practically the same wires up the same. But over all its alot better product than the AutoMeter. Instead of having to change pills for the RPM you want the light to come on and only in 200 RPM advances (ie. 5000, 5200, ...) The SW light you can adjust in 10 RPM advancments which makes it nice so you can dial in you shift point alot better. Has LED's w/ a built in digital Tach also. Put it on w/ my auto tap and it reads rigth along so its not off in its readings. I give SW 2 thumbs up on this light.

Thanks. Found more info:

For the money ($50), I think Harlans is a good setup.

Harlan's is good; I like the tach idea, but doubt you would have time to read it while racing. Matbe I'm wrong ,but with Harlan's you just shift when the light comes on.

your right about not being able to read it while running but its nice to have there for programing it and then while driving you can glance at it to see what your RPM really are. my stock tach can be off as much as 100-200 RPMs at times. you can also turn the tach off if you want. Light also has last highest RPM shift point memory so you can recall it after your run

I have a raptor as well (works great), the SW looks pretty cool though. The tach has a peak recall which is kinda nice. Good to see a few choices out there now..
