Default Pacesetter O2 Bungs

Strangely the O2 bungs on my pacesetters are like this. The drivers side bung faces the drive shaft, but the passenger side faces away from the drive shaft. My application will work ok with this, but I'm not sure about the F-Body. Just thought all you future pacesetter buyers would like to know that. Hummm, maybe it's a factory defect.

On my hookers they are both facing outward, I wonder why they do this? Seems just as easy to put them on the inside. It must save them money somehow is the only thing I can figure.

the first couple of hundred sets were that way, now they are putting them on the inside on both. Actually, having done one of each, I prefer the o2 bung on the outside, its easier to route the wire away from the header.
