Default How to Re-Fill Coolant

I drained out the coolant to install some gauge senders. I drained it out of the radiator and out of the block. Can anyone guide me on how to re-fill the system with coolant? I checked the manual but it was pretty scetchy. And, is it safe to add a bottle of Water Watter? Thanks

I wouldn't recommend drivin it far before you know its full. I recently put in a tstat and only lost a minimal amt of coolant, but air got in the system and caused my temp to rise VERY fast to 230+. Just keep checking the level.

just make sure you get all the air out of the system as best you can, the installuniversity site has this documented well.

It will take a while to burp all the air out of the system. Make sure you check the level before you drive it for the next couple times. I had to top mine off 4 times before it stayed full...
