Check this thing out!
I came across this torque damper and I was wondering what u guys thought about it. I'm thinking about getting it instead of messing w/ a prothane motor mount swap(it seems a HELL of a lot easier to install, and I would think similar results?) The title on their website states that it is for a LS1 GTO, but will it work for an LS1 in a Fbody? Thanks in advance for any info.

I have never used them so I can't say for sure. But two things; it doesn't say anything about bolt-on/direct replacement installation. Which to me means that you'll have to make you're own brackets. Also, for that price you can get solid mounts, which are not hard to install.

Are solid motor mounts easier to install than the prothane mounts?

I've heard the solid mounts are easier to install...mainly because you don't have to pry the crap out of them to get them to line up.
I can say from experience that the poly mounts aren't fun...but they are worth the effort.
