Default removing header

so im taking my heads off and im trying to remove the headers. but i cant get the ypipe off the headers. i've tried to slide them out wit the ypipe attatched and cant get it.

the ypipe isn't welded but its on there good.

ypipe is unbolted from catback and headers are unbolted from the heads.

What type of headers are you taking off? Have you simply tried tapping around the y pipe with a rubber mallet or something to try and break anything loose?

You can heat it up a little with a torch to expand it and wiggle it off. With the headers already disconnected from the heads, I think it would be hard to whack it with a rubber mallet without your headers going everywhere.

Yeah your going to have to put them back up in order to get the rest of your Y pipe off.
I have QTP and I was able to just push them over to get at all my head bolts , so I didnt hhave to take them out in order to put on my new heads.
