will flex pipe work for making dual exhaust setups?
i seen this stuff at autozone its called flex pipe i believe, well you can take it and bend it any direction you want, can i use this for making my exhaust setup? can this stuff be welded? if it cant be welded and it can only be clamped do you think a clamp will stop it from leaking? will this stuff be ok for my true dual setup? it would be much easier connecting the x pipe witrh this flex pipe will it handle the heat or will it quickly rust out?

that stuff is crap, it lets most of the noise of the exhaust out and it rust very easy. it's should only be used for a temporary situation, I'd rather have not exhaust than that crap on my car. only IMO

I temporarily used it on a V-8 S10 I did, it worked for the brief time I needed it, but it's JUNK. don't waste your $. Get a reputable exhaust shop to do it.

i actually bent it and it didnt kink, it actually looked like mandrel bends
I talked to this lady manager she said she only has 2" and no 2.5". They used to have 2.5" two weeks ago, she now says she cant order any, im hoping she is just a moron and they actually have it. Where else can i get this?

i would order them from a business but it wouldnt be overpriced dr gas, that place is for people who have more money than brains.. another reason i have to get "custom bends" is because im haveing my longtube straightened out, i dont have an almighty ls1, im sorry i cant act like god like you i have a 3.8 and some dipshit on the internet made these and now im having them fixed, i need certain bends not the typical ones dr gas sells for 30.00 a bend

Then don't buy it from Dr. Gas. Other companies make mandrel bends. Hedman and Hooker come to mind. Just don't use flex pipe from AutoZone, you won't be happy with it.

I've had to use it on a few cars just repairs not performance. It rusts really bad, really fast. I've seen a camaro with dual tips that had this **** used and it looked like i belonged in a demo derby. Unless it's a temp fix on your beater, i would'nt waste my time/money.
