Default 6.0 intake options

Working on 6.0 conversion to a s10 blazer. Intake is the question, Stock 2000 6.0, LS6, other? trying to work cheap, differences between LS6 and truck intakes?

Are you asking a fitment type question? They will interchange.

The LS version of the intake sits lower than the truck manifolds. From what I hear, you have to relocate the alternator if you use the LS version w/ truck style accessory brackets.

I have a 6L in my car with LS acc. brackets and Fast intake.

Performance wise the truck intake and LS6 intake will be pretty close, with the LS6 breathing a little better high up in the power band.

For clearance reasons in an s-10 conversion, i would use the Ls6, the truck intake will not clear the stock hood.
