Default Long Tube Header Question

I'm looking to buy some long tube headers for my 2001 Z28. Looking on Ebay I have found some inexpensive SS LT headers. Here's the link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-99...spagenameZWDVW

If I go with these, will I wind up regretting it?? What are the big differences between headers. I've seen the ceramic coated, SS, etc. I know that diameter is important and tube wall thickness is critical for good flow and longevity.. Any ideas, comments, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

I can almost guarantee you that you are going to have fitment and clearance issues. Ive seen post in the past about these headers and apparently, many people have had to notch the k-member and still had clearance issues on the underside of the car with the collectors.

Good luck if you try them though... For that price though I think I would rather save up and get Pacesetters.

Do it once and do it right. I had SLP's and switched to American Racing Headers, I made good power with them, and they fit awesome and tuck nicely under the car. They are a pretty penny, but VERY worth it. Just my $.02

You do get what you pay for.

However, sometimes you don't need to spend the most to get the job done. Spend only as much as you can spare.

I did full ceramic coated JetHot LTs on my 96 TA with custom welded y-pipe and all that...spent about $1000 after it was all done. It was pretty, but it was still just a set of headers.

This time I went with used MACs and a matching Y for 1/3 that cost.

I have seen some pics of those headers. they are kinda nice looking but they do have fitment issues. they will sit right up against the floor pan and it makes puting the y-pipe on difficult. IMO that would put some unwanted stress on the primaries and could possible crack one. my $.02
