Underdrive Pulley Question
In researching a cam for my car it was mentioned to me that since the crank pulley must be removed its a good idea to purchase an underdrive pulley. Has any experianced and charging or cooling issues using an underdrive pulley in their LSX vehical? I would imagine on a hot day in traffic there may be some overheating issues. Has anyone had any problems with this or are LSX vehicals void of thses issues?

i dont have one, but i'm getting one soon probably. i've always heard that unless you have a decent sized sound system or something that would drain a good bit of electricity, your shouldn't have a problem.

I have a pulley and yeah my charging goes negative at a stop light, but my warm in gear idle is at like 450rpm. If I ease it up by foot to 600 rpm it goes positive, so I need to get that adjusted.
If you're getting a cam you'll likely be getting a tune also and your idle we be set high enough that charging at idle will not be a problem.
