Default Help finding fuel rail pressure valve/bolt

Can someone give me an idea of where to find the fuel rail pressure valve/bolt? I have an idea, but want to be sure before I start undoing things.

Not sure what you mean, can you be more specific. What are you trying to do?

If you just want to remove the fuel rail ls1howto has some good info here:

No, don't want to remove the fuel rail, just trying to hook up a pressure gauge. I was told by my cousin that there should be a spot to hook up a gauge to the fuel rail to measure the fuel pressure. Kind of like a tire valve stem, only for the fuel rails. Take off cap/bolt, screw on pressure gauge, get fuel pressure.

Front, right? just what I thought. As a bonus question, do you know the thread size on it? I was thinking it was a female end since my gauge has a male end on it. Now I need to get a female/female adapter, and just wanted to know the thread type to get for the fuel rail connection.

Thanks for verifying the location for me!

driver side front of the fuel rail. don't forget to remove the rubber grommet before you install the guage. it will give you a false reading.

I've got another idea...

Does the valve stem piece unscrew from the fuel rail itself? Maybe I'm supposed to remove the entire valve stem end piece to attach the sender unit for the pressure gauge directly to the fuel rail??

What about removing/unscrewing the end cover on the passenger side fuel rail front and installing there?

Turning out to be more of a project than I thought it was going to be...
