Default Air Pump Guys

If i remove the air pump from the car, its an '02 WS-6, the only question i have is on the drivers side head in the back there seems to be a vacuum junction with serveal hoses. And a small what looks to be like a vacuum line coming out of the top. Does that just get plugged? What do i do there......thanks guys...i did a search on that and didn't find anything that was a clear answer.....I have HPT so ill take care of the codes too.....

Thanks guys

I JUST PULLED OFF MY AIR PUMP 10 minutes ago, LOL kinda funny timing.

I removed the pump and the large vacum line that runs over the master cylinder to the round vacum thing. I bought a bypass plug and just plugged the outlet from the round "diaphram/thing" and all is good. When I install long tubes in a few weeks (no egr/emmisions) I will plug the others behind the manifold.

I know exactly what youre talking about. On the two cars I've helped with we just left it unplugged and havent had any issues (I'm guessing because its such a small line), but you probably want to plug it up if you can. I believe that vacuum line only comes on 00-02 cars. It's definitely not on mine.

I took that **** off both my cars which happen to be 02 models. You don't have to cap it off because it won't hurt a damn thing. I ran my old Z28 like that for over a year and never had a problem

Do any of you happen to have a picture of the air pump?

i took the entire assembly out and just stuck the last remaining line onto one of the coil pack bolts. it fits perfectly to plug the hole.
