Default help my car wont idle

i just installed a fast 78. i checked everything 2 times. my car when i start it will rev to 3000 and die it will stay alive if i give it a lot of gas but when i let off
it dies. it sounds like it is back fireing through the intake. can someone help me.

is your IAC hooked up?

check your fuel pressure regulator too.

Probably not seated and you have a massive vacum leak.

did you change the valley cover bolts? i not the ports didn't seal and you probably have cracks in the bottom on the manifold.

Depends on if you cracked the bottom of the manifold or not. Most likely it will run fine after you install the right bolts.

Same thing happened to me when I did my ls6 intake. What happened was I accidently ripped out my map sensor wires and rewired them all wrong. I looked in my manual and rewired it again right this time and it was all good.

i got my bolts from Paul's ace hardware. Button heads that are a hex pattern. If it is cracked, just throw some JB weld on it, it will be ok.

i got the intake off again today and put the other bolts in the intake was not cracked and everything else is fine the car runs good just needs a tune thanks for your help
