Unhappy Vibration at idle in all forward gears

Just noticed a vibration this morning in my 99 camaro, V6, automatic. Only occurs in the forward gears. Also feels like the engine is losing power in acceleration. Engine is smooth as silk in reverse. Any ideas?

Thanks for the help. Engine is all stock except for an SLP:confused manual fan switch.

Maybe a motor mount problem, something that loads
when the powertrain rolls one way and unloads the
other, under the back-torque? Might be something
as simple as an exhaust - body interference that is
only shown under load. No banging under harder
acceleration?

No, no banging under acceleration. Will check out the items you mentioned when I get back to the house today. Use this as my "going to work" car and it has been doing great until now. Always been smooth...oh well. Thanks for the reply.

Feels like it is coming from under the gearshift and just forward. Just checked the exhaust, everything seems solid. Sorry for the question, but where to find the engine mounts? When I let off the accelerator, hear a clunk.

Thanks again.

Chances are its a motor or transmission mount.
