Default rockers for trickflows?

I have a set of trickflow heads and was wondering what ratio rocker I will need for them? I was guessing 1.7 but I also thought that since they need a 7.5 pushrod they may need a different ratio. Thanks for the help.

Whichever rocker you decide you use, you will want to stay with the 1.7 ratio. The ramps on a lot of cams are too aggresive to run a higher ratio like 1.8.

also if u mill them measure first as the ones that come with them are for unmilled heads. when i measure mine its ended up needing a 7.450 and thats with .090 preload on the lifters.

YT utralights are now redesigned and supposedly took care of the shortcomings. I am hearing good things about them but can't speak from personal experience.

What ever rockers you run make sure you check swipe pattern before determining pushrod length. yella terras requie the shim for tfs and a different pushrod than comes standard normally espcially if you get them milled and different gasket thicknesses.

Top Fuel has custom pushrod length for his setup also I hand to shim harlands to get the right pattern I believe it was a .060 shim

you have clearence with harlands (never had any touch), but its interesting I have setup abut 7 cars with harlands and all had a less than ideal swipe pattern. I wonder if they changed the valve install height or or raised the rocker bosses
